Good quality wire is the key for creating filigree wire patterns. Wire has to be strong to sustain the pressure of shaping. But it's also have to be soft for looping.

I test every batch of wire you find on this website to ensure its quality.

The wire which is suitable for CroShaping is the coloured, silver or gold plated or not, enamelled, 26,28 or 30 gauge copper wire with PP (Peeling Point) and BP (Breaking Point) over "4".

I introduced the method of testing the suitability of the craft wire for shaping ("BP test"©). PP and BP calculated using TonS©.

The higher number of how many times wire can be reused to crochet 12 base loops on TonS© before peeling and breaking the better choice of wire to use for the ArtWireLace© technique.
