YuliaVA - CroShape© ArtWireLace

Welcome to the world of YuliaVA, where art, craftsmanship and storytelling intertwine through the innovative CroShape© Wire ArtWireLace technique.

A former scientist turned artist, YuliaVA explores creativity through wire, transforming delicate loops into expressive forms that bridge the gap between science and art. Her signature method, CroShape©, combines traditional crochet principles with the sculptural shaping of wire, allowing each loop to become both a structural element and a visual language.

Exhibitions

YuliaVA’s work has been recognised within the contemporary jewellery and craft community. She was selected as an artist for Milano Jewellery Week in October 2025 and has been invited to present her creations again in October 2026.

Her hand-crafted CroShaped© pieces were also showcased at Cluster Contemporary Jewellery in Covent Garden, London, in November 2025.

Her work reflects a growing interest in innovative material techniques and narrative-driven craft practices.

Gallery

Visitors are invited not only to observe but to interpret, reflect and connect with the forms. Every design is open to meaning, encouraging viewers to discover their own stories within the delicate structure of wire and light.

The gallery presents a curated selection of YuliaVA’s CroShape© Wire ArtWireLace creations, where intricate craftsmanship meets personal narrative and contemporary material exploration.

"Sisters Garden"

Her name was Asya. She left…

Choice, or destiny—the line is unseen.

Do we shape the path, or follow what was already formed?

Perhaps both.

I shape mine. Loop by loop, metal materialises the visions into forms. Forms are seen as flowers—a garden unfolding in between memory and reality.

Sister’s Garden—the garden of choices.

Sister's Garden

Hope. Petite Flowers.

Flower brooch/pin "There is Always a Hope" hand-crocheted from 30-gauge enameled sterling silver wire as part of the "Sister's Garden" collection. Faceted cubic zirconia is embedded into the delicate wire pattern as a symbol of vitality and belonging. The brooch is universal as faith, hope, and love. Wear it to celebrate the glory of virtues!

Stories in Wire

I'm a scientist and loop is my research subject. Loops can be made by twisting or waving or with tools. I research wire loops. I shape every l loop using my own distinctive CroShape© technique.

CroShaped© Loops are letters in my Craft Alphabet. I combine loops in stitches - syllables, syllables in words - patterns, words in sentences to craft my stories - Stories in Wire. I share the stories with my family and now with you, my friend.

The Story in Wire

"One Line"

There is an art of creating a picture by drawing one uninterrupted line. Its called One Line Drawing. Similarly, all my creation are CroShaped from One Line of Wire. All the beads, chains, fabric are embedded in one line of wire pattern. Pattern is a flow of the loops as reflection of my thoughts. Wire breaks and I start again and again for the flawless outcome. Because there is always another chance to make it better, in my craft, in my life, in everything...

Inspiration

I'm lucky. I'm proud. I'm eternally grateful. I'm blessed. I'm a grandmother.

I'm learning to be kind and sincere, to face the big bad world with curiosity and joy, to hopp across the problems as a grasshopper, to make kebabs from forest berries, to see the rainbow even in a dullest day, to notice unnoticeable, to draw unseen. I'm privileged to be a part of my grandchildren's story. There are no words will be ever found to describe the feeling of being wanted and loved just because...

Challenges

There are moments in life, when the heart is broken and pain feels suffocating; the times we silence our tears, bottle up our emotions, and hide our hurt because we believe the world favours strength and constant cheerfulness. Yet true healing is not found in silence, but in allowing ourselves to feel, to open up, and to share our cry. This work is an honest expression of those hidden emotions—an offering of vulnerability, release, and connection—and I am truly grateful for the chance to share it.

Acceptance

Dear World!

Can you accept me if I'm silent and invisible. Can you find me if I'm hiding? Can you welcome me even I'm not invited? Can you see me in the loops I shape? Can you hear the stories of my creations?

I want to be seen and heard and be equal and unique.

I want to accept and be accepted.

Social media is where YuliaVA’s work steps out of silence and into conversation with the world—a space where what was once hidden can be seen, felt, and shared. It becomes more than just a platform; it is a way to communicate emotion beyond words, to open up and allow others to witness the vulnerability behind each piece. Through this dialogue, the work comes alive—not only as expression, but as a mirror where others can recognise their own stories and, in turn, respond.
